One of the top 5 releases from 2011 was the Com Truise full length debut, Galactic Melt. The man follows up that stunning collection of music with a release cataloguing a tonne of material that so far has been unreleased or only appeared on his Komputer Cast Podcast. The entire 10 track compilation is vintage Com Truise, with Klymaxx and Yxes being my favorites.
Tommy Trash just released a “Private Bootleg” of his track Unite Kids. I can only assume he called it Unite Kids in order to try and dodge labelling it MGMT – Kids (Tommy Trash Remix) and thus the record labels.
Anyway, if you think you have room for yet another Kids remix on your ipod you may want to grab the mp3 from soundcloud before someone eventually catches wind of this clever rouse and whips out a cease and desist.
Summer time tune right here. The French indie-pop duo of The Penelopes are releasing a new track track entitled Summer Life. Receiving the remix treatment by Style of Eye this track features a long synth heavy build up with distorted voice sampling from the original track before dropping in the bass around the 2 minute mark.
Forthcoming on Discobelle records, this label has been killing it with great releases this summer.
