Been a while since I used the Space Disco label, but the soundscape on this could not be more fitting.

Slept on this a little but is basically my ideal example for nice sounding ambient style music. All you crazy Knife Party fans can take a pass on this one (sorry).

Just a little something I threw together. Loving this kinda music lately. Not really sure how to categorize it nor do I care to. The mix is called BassDisco, cause we’ve been calling some of these tracks “Space Disco” around here. But again, there’s a lot of different shit on here.

Its been a little while so I think I’m just going to post a few things that have caught my ear over the past week or so and keep the chatter to a minimum. I’ve posted about Star Slinger on here before and in concert with Teams they have a nice little collab tune complete with a video.

I like.

This mix is fucking epic. Seriously. I’m not sure who Wrong Chris is, but this came through the e-mail, and I have to say it’s probably one of the best programmed mixes I’ve heard in a while. Covers pretty much all bas(s)es. Glitch Hop, Hip Hop, Drum & Bass, Breaks, Dubstep, and Electro. Literally exactly what this blog is all about in an hour and fourty minutes.

This will be on heavy rotation for me for a WHILE.

Couldn’t really find out much about this “Wrong Chris” guy, except that he’s from Vancouver. Which is great.

More new music from another artist that I just recently discovered. I was going through a period there where I just wasn’t finding that much that interested me in any great way but thankfully that has changed. Star Slinger has one of those sounds fully driven by old funk, RnB, and hip hop, and I just love it.

I could sit here and prattle on endlessly about the specifics of each tune and where they all come from but I’m just going to get on with it. I think al three tunes cover different sounds entirely and that is really rare from most beat makers you see out there at the moment.
