Jack Beats today released a mixtape called Evolution. The mix covers tracks forth coming on their new mini album called careless and features a bunch of their new material including their huge remix of Flux Pavillions, Daydreamer.
There arent a ton of electronic artists creating full on music video’s but The Bloody Beetroots are doing just that. Released on Ultra, the track has a Ed Banger/Justice sound to it and the video seems to feature a skid rockers road trip.
Really love catching these guys perform live and hoping someone brings them through Toronto this summer.
Feeling blue because your friends are off in Spain partying at Sonar? Well cheer up, no less than 5 live sets from the festival have shown up online. Now it’s like you’re right there with them!!! :(
Summer time tune right here. The French indie-pop duo of The Penelopes are releasing a new track track entitled Summer Life. Receiving the remix treatment by Style of Eye this track features a long synth heavy build up with distorted voice sampling from the original track before dropping in the bass around the 2 minute mark.
Forthcoming on Discobelle records, this label has been killing it with great releases this summer.
Finally, if you havent checked it out, Diplo did a full 2 hour mix for the show a few weeks back and it was on point. It Definitely feels like Diplo is back with that mix after some lacklustre dubstep heavy sets he was putting out last year.

Boy 8-bit is about to release his latest EP entitled We Move By Night due out June 24th. The 8bit Amiga sampling British producer releases and eclectic mix of tracks but the title track is one that is currently being played out by Diplo, Brodinski, Crookers and Zinc.
Belgian based Blood Music duo Ego Troopers have posted a new mix which can be downloaded from their soundcloud.
And finally record boss himself, Fakeblood, recently performed the Manchester festival, Park Life. The entire performance was captured and can be streamed with video.
Dim Mak records have released an unofficial video preview of Autoerotiques forthcoming new track Roll The Drums.
With a heavy dutch inspired drop expect to be hearing this one played out as Autoerotique hit the festival circuit this summer. The Toronto duo will be making stops at Electric Daisy Carnival, Electric Zoo and Toronto’s Digital Dreams festival to name a few. (not really safe for work…if you work somewhere without a sense of humour)
