HND are a dj/mc group made up of Christian Poulson, Anastasia Le, and Andrew D’amato (with occasional support from Keith Kaickul Mustachi and MC Matt Almeida). Having played alongside of international and local international talent at events like Promises Annual Wharehouse Halloween Party, UK-Undeground, and the new Chromageddon Saturdays, we’re stoked to see what they bring for us on Sunday.
Another Lips Remix this time from Bronze Whale, this one is a lot more chill than the Adventure Club remix we posted. Can’t figure out which mix I like better.
Some more heat from Jaques and his new studio partner DNGR. The duo now known as Bronze Whale have remixed this Youth Lagoon track to perfection. As expected. Take a listen and download for FREE. On that note, head to this Bronze Whale page and thank them for consistently making amazing remixes!
My remixing hero is now using a new moniker. Which in this case doesn’t matter in the slightest because the quality has not changed. In fact I might say it’s improved. This track is full and well polished. Listen and download. You’ll love it!
This one came through via soundcloud from Alan Strovich. Need to get an mp3 download link, but in the meantime, just have a listen. This is exactly the sound I’m into. Apparently this is a remix that will be entered as part of a Remix comp announced by Olivia Broadfield over the holidays. You can get details on how to enter yourself on Olivia’s Website
Having looked over Alan’s work, this is definitely my favorite, but only because I’m dubstep bias, and this is the most polished dubstep track he’s made.
First is an Enigma Dubz remix. Fucking love the bassline on this one. Pretty standard look for Enigma Dubz.
Afrojack & Steve Aoki ft. Miss Palmer – No Beef (Enigma Dubz Remix)
Second is a remix of The Weeknd, which until now I haven’t heard done well at all. Ill-Esha tunes the one up with thicker bassline and some layered synth melodies.
This track is old. Like 2010 old. But I just found it, it’s free for download, and it’s brilliant. Better late than never. If you don’t know it, you should.
Adventure Club are fucking KILLING it right now. They’re playing along side Mord Fustang at the DOCKS for NEW YEARS for fuck sakes. Canada seriously knows how to make some amazing dubstep.
